Dear Rosie, Well,I finally have an excuse to send you a PERSONAL message,although I wish it could be about something more pleasant for me! Little did I know that when I forwarded my message to you (when signing your guestbook)onto my friend,Richard Otis, (BECAUSE I WAS SO PROUD TO FINALLY LEAVE A MESSAGE IN YOUR GUESTBOOK),that when he replied to me,it actually went to you instead!(I never even saw the message,myself!--still haven't!) Anyway,he sent me 3 messages in a row about it,wanting to know why I forwarded a private message from him onto you,and also very upset that I would forward his e-mail address onto ANYONE ELSE. i e-mailed him back and told him that to the best of my knowledge,I never forwarded his message or his e-mail address onto to you or anyone else!!!! She should be able to tell you that I recently bought their latest C.D.,AND THEN SENT HER AN ORDER FOR 6 MORE COPIES FOR MUSIC LOVER FRIENDS AND REALATIVES OF MINE!!! "angel baby" is the best song i ever heard for reals im not lying, it inspired me in many diffrent ways one of them was that well now im all into oldie music and i have noticed that oldies have inspired many musicians of our day. thank you for the inspiration "angel baby" means so much to me and i like the spanish version as well, you should come to reno and perform some day. Dear Rosie, Last weekend we had a family reunion in Bandon, Oregon(officially celebrating my mother's 85th birthday) of the descendants of Arthur Pinkston Sargent. You and I are first cousins, one time removed. There was discussion at the picnic about which of the two Hamlin boys (Harry Frederick?)was you father, and no one knew your mother's name. My mother (Florence Sargent Anthony) knew your grandmother, Lora, and last saw her in Bandon a few years before she died. Would you like to share some genealogical information with the rest of the clan? We don't know much about the Hamlin branch. Regards, Mike Anthony

Where I live, they are having a '50s and '60s lip syncing contest and I'm gonna enter and lip sync to, yup, angel baby, heehee. I want to be a singer but I'm shy and I figure that lip syncing first will be a good move toward gaining confidence on stage. Well, thanx Rosie for "angel baby" and please continue singing!! =)

Last known living in the seventh ward area of New Orleans. She had a stroke in 1994 and lost use of her unique voice. Would like to be of help to her if she caan be found.

Your "Angel Baby" is one of my favorite songs. You can't imagine all the romantic settings your song has inspired for so many of us. From looking at some of your pictures (very young girl) in ethnic attire, I would guess you are Latina. Are you? If so, why doesn't your bio address it. We need more inspiration from people like you. I love your other songs as well like "Angel from Above", "No Other Love" and "I Found A Dream" as well as "Angel Baby". These are sophisticated and very classy songs. They have a style of their own.
