Godspeed Rosie, and thank you for sharing a part of your sadly short life with us, the wonderful music memories, and one of the forever anthems of my youth, and beyond, "Angel Baby". I saw you perform "Angel Baby" on PBS before your health issues prevented you from further performing. Again, unforgettable, and thank you.

Dear Rosie, that's funny because I actually wrote a song about Rosie entitled "Dear Rosie." Today 1/5/20 I am missing my friend and looking at the beautiful video with tears but with inspiration 2 never give up like my dear Rosie. Rosie's voice is planted forever in my soul together with the memories of dancing to it with the most beautiful girl in my arms at the Friday night record hop in the very early 60's. Her voice, those words and the tune are forever a part of me that still delights whenever they surface.

Beautiful Rosie!! I was pleased to learn about her early career in the 60s and that she performed with all the Rock and Roll greats of the time. I also heard Rosie's Spanish version of "Angel Baby" on You Tube for the first time and got woke that, in fact, her mother was Latina and that the Chicanos of East Los Angeles embrace her as one of their own. Rosie was a spiritual person, loved by many and had a loving heart!

I am so sorry to just now learn of Rosie's passing. From everything I have read she was a wonderful woman and will be greatly missed by her family and close friends. I played her hit record "Angel Baby" many, many times when I was a disc jockey (Terry Wayne) at KBLU in Yuma, Arizona, back in 1961-62. Hers was one of my favorite songs of the time.
