Dear Rosie's Family, What a woman! I am so happy to learn the Icon of young Love lived a happy life and flew away peacefully in sleep. Thank you for the generosity of sharing with us for whom that song was always in the soundtrack of our lives. Even when we are pushing 70!

In 1975 I heard Rockin Ray on 1110 WBT say "if you've ever been in love this song is for you" Angel Baby. I was 13 and had my heart broken by a girl 3yrs older than me, I didn't know Rosie but I loved her. She touched my heart and my life. If I should be so fortunate to reach the Pearly Gates and I don't hear Rosie Hamlin singing I'm not going in. May God bless you Rosie, you surly blessed me. We'll always love you. My best wishes to the family.

I never met her but felt connected to her. Always loved the song and the singer. Rosie was one of a kind and one of the great things about America. "Angel Baby" was a staple of my Oldies radio shows in the 1960s and always a personal favorite. Thank you Rosie.

So sad to hear of Rosie's passing. Met her a few times when she did shows in the later years. Still had a fabulous voice. Loved her story about the fill in sax player on "Angel Baby" when the group player got grounded. Her music and personality will live on forever.
