I was born in Pennsylvania and remember this song(Angel Baby) when I was growing up. I love the lyrics and your beautiful voice. Oh isn't it so strange how music seems to spin back the time. Such nostalgia, with a feeling of sadness of memorable days gone by that can only be revisited by the songs of our time. btw my sister has firbromyalgia. there are ways to rid yourself of the ailment. Contact me if you are interested. Thanks again for bringing such joy into the lives of so many.

Hi Rosie. Was just thinking about you the other day and how much I loved your single, Angel Baby. I, too, attended Sweetwater Union High School (Go Red Devils!) and graduated in '66. I also recall my uncle David Alonzo, who lived in Ocean Beach, speaking of you. At that time, he was an aspiring guitar player. Perhaps you remember his name. I enjoyed all the family photos you posted on this website. They reminded me of my childhood in San Diego, something we may have in common.

I'm going to share Rosie's story with my daughter! At the age of 12 she has such a creative gift for writing, and she recently wrote a ballad for school. She created the ballad in the car just off the top of her head and my husband and I were so impressed with it. Not really the words you would consider a 12 yr to come up with. Very deep for her age! This story will hopefully encourage her to continue to write more ballads as well as her love for writing creative stories. I am so glad I discovered this site! God's is amazing and knows exactly just the right gift for just the right person. He blessed Rosie's with such an amazing gift of singing and writing. I pray that my daughter develops the gifts she is blessed. Whatever God leads her too!

Hi there Rosie, Its night here in the Philippines. Actually it was my brother who introduced me to the Golden Oldies songs. Your songs quite makes me feel, sort of sad for the things I have not done and enjoyed. Perhaps, because of the lyrics of your songs that somehow keep bringing me back when I was young. Its always the feeling of longing. You, Ms. Sue Thompson, the Sirelles, the Toys, Patti Page, Cilla Black, Connie Francis, Pat Boone, Cliff Richards and the others. You people sing effortlessly and naturally. I wish the singers now could just hear your songs and perhaps enjoy the differences. Moe Power to you!!!! How did you got such pure voice?

My parents are big Kenny Vance fans. I am 35, but I really like 50's and 60's music. I was listening to one of their Kenny Vance CD's the other night, and I heard his version of "Angel Baby". That led me to google the song, and I found out about you and listened to your original version. I really enjoyed looking at your website and reading about the other things you were into. Looking forward to seeing and listening to more of your work. By the way, I am a singer / songwriter too, but in a slightly different style. However, I consider myself very strongly influenced by 50's & 60's pop and country/western. My youtube channel name is "sillykidssong". Trying to put an album together. Best wishes to you with your music and art. I am going to learn to play "Angel Baby" and hope to someday do a killer cover version of it.

Dear Ms. Rosie, I have always loved your song Angel Baby. I am a 16y/o model/actress/recording artist and I am asked to do a cover of the original song often! I also perform it for our local Motown Review and the people always sing along and dance when I do it! I love the song so much that I have my own version made that keeps the original song in tact so the adults can sing along and also gets kids my age to like the song as well! I hope to put it out one day but my mom says we have to wait and get permission first! If I do get to perform it, my biggest dream is to find out that you heard it, approved of it, and liked it! I would also love to meet you in person one day! An even bigger dream would be to perform my version as a duet with you because I left the original first verse, last verse and chorus intact in order to give you respect as it it your song! I added my own verse and bridge for kids my age though! I have always liked music that... Read more

I added my own verse and bridge for kids my age though! I have always liked music that is older than I am. Music in my era doesn't make much sense and it is all very vulgar. I guess that is why I like the older music the most, back then music made sense and it said something! As an aspiring recording artist I hope to bring that back! I just hope that the kids of my generation will appreciate it! Thank you for putting out such a great song!!! I am so happy my mom found you site so I could write you this message! Take care! Angel Baby was the first record I ever went out and purchased with my own money. I was 12 years old. No one else seemed to understand the fascination I had for that song, but to this day it is still one of my all time favorites. Much love to Rosie and the Originals
