Angel Baby was a staple in 1961 . i was 9 and used to listen to you on my transistor radio under a pillow and covers in my bed so i could sneak songs past bed time . i sure was hoping this particular girl was listening to the same song at the same time. Thank you for the love and the beauty of life.

Your voice is captivating. I think I was 11 years old when I heard Angel Baby. I was hooked. Where was your father born? My father was born in Stigler, Haskell County, Oklahoma, 1921. My mother Reva Marie Stone born in Ashlan, Pittsburgh County, Oklahoma, 1927.

Rosie & The Originals. Was one of my all time favorite groups. Her song "Angel Baby" is the greatest. I compared Rosie's original recording tho the performance a few years ago on PBS. Hardly tell the difference. Rosie still has the voice of an Angel . The best part is Rosie is such a grand lady with a huge heart. Never have seen Rosie perform live but if I ever see that she is, I will be there no matter where it is. Thank you Rosie for the gift you have given us. A gift that will go one forever.

I remember your song from high school, and I don't think I've heard it for 30 years. I ran across it by chance but now I'll keep it close. A wonderful song Rosie I hope I can find it on CD. Thanks for your beautiful contribution to music.

I just wanted to thank you for writing and recording the song Angel Baby. I am a 57 year old man and I sit there with tears in my eyes every time I hear it. That's how much the song gets into my soul and my heart. Thank you so much.

Hi Rosie, I first heard "Angel baby" in the 2003 version of Mr. Capone-E. I have been a record collector all my life and I'm very interested in all kind of music. So I had to find out who was singing the "original" version. I found it out on amazon and I ordered your best of CD. While I listened to it it just blew me away. The song "Angel baby" and "I'm the one who really loves you" . every track. That was back in 2010. At this time I was heavy in love with a girl called Maria. The whole story was a desaster. I wish I could talk to her one more time but she don't want it. Every time I listen to "Angel baby" (no matter in what kind of version) I feel my heart beating again. Because no matter what kind of shit you have to go through and no matter how hard you have to be (broken love, funerals, illness in family) you realize that there is still love. Love that lifes in music just like yours. So thank you for your tracks and happy christmas wishes you Martin

I don't know if you read these messages but as a young boy about 12 or 13 I'd guess. I attended a Christian School near your home I believe. I had a friend and classmate who lived on the end of the cul d sac you lived in-- in National City. His father was a Pastor. We used to sit outside and listen to you and your band singing-practicing ( about two houses away) never knowing how your life would soon change.I would have loved to meet you but being a couple years younger that would not have been cool for you I'm sure. Everytime I hear that song (Angel Baby) even today I'm so proud of a young beautiful Teen from National City in the area we lived making it big. I pray your life has been one of joy-peace-and happiness. God Bless you and your family and thank you for making us proud.

Dear Ms. Hamlin.every time I hear Angel Baby I get so emotional.I admire you because as a Latina you broke barriers with this song.Your voice is so angelic people actually forgot their problems and the worlds for those few minutes. Though I was not born till 1978.thank you for helping me to remember a time and place I will never see. You are truly a muse of inspiration!

Hello Rosie. I hope you are feeling OK. Thank you again for Angel Baby. This song played a major role in my life as I was growing up in the 50's and 60's. Here in the deep South, it was difficult to hear rock and roll on the local radio stations so I constructed a radio that would receive the west coast and heard Angel Baby months before most folks in my home town. One of my first girlfriends was a beautiful Greek olive skinned girl that used to call me Angel Baby. Thank you so much for this beautiful song----Charlie
