I heard Angel Baby on a Friday evening in March, 1968 when I was driving home from college in my dad's new 1968 GMC pickup at the start of Spring Break. It was such a moving experience that I wrote a short story based on the song. Simple and lovely.

That record has never been surpassed. It will always remain my favourite 45 it captured the early sixties in North London perfectly. It is totally haunting - every guy of 16, like me, would have fallen in love with Rosie on first hearing - and in the UK we didn't even have a photo of her!

My granddaughter's nick name is Angel Baby. When I was visitng my daughter in San Antonio, I waited in the car with their new baby girl while they ran into the store. Mercy, she started crying and wouldn't stop. I started singing to her and the only song I could think of was, Angel Baby. Ever since then, we call her Angel Baby. Thank you so much for the song.

rosie i listen to sirus & they play "angel baby" & it seemed to have been changed by the middle part with the instrumental portion in the middle of the song like some of it was removed because i have several cd's that have "angle baby on them & they seemed as they are the original recording. anyway God bless & have a Merry Christmas.

Hello Rosie- As one who was born in 1962 and grew up listening to my parents' records, I believe that era was the best. Angel Baby has to be the sweetest song ever recorded! As an amateur poet, I'd love to write something that innocent and beautiful and put it to music. However, where would I find another Rosie to sing it? On a serious note, I am a Christian who has a chronic illness also. It is inspiring to see you as a multi-talented artist giving so much to the world. God Bless, JKL

"Angel Baby" is my favorite all-time rock'n'roll song. I had a radio show on WFDU-FM (Teaneck, NJ) during the years 1974 to 1979 on Sundays from 5 AM to 8 AM. Although the station format was "Progressive Rock" now known as "Classic Rock", I managed to air "Angel Baby" at least once a month. My excuse was that I was going back to the roots of rock. Between Mott the Hoople and AC/DC, one could hear Rosie and the Originals. For the past 31 years I have been a school psychologist, but if I am ever on the radio again, I'll play "Angel Baby".

In my mid-teens I started to be a big fan of the music from the 50's and the early 60's. I also discovered Angel Baby at that time. The song is so beautiful, romantic and authentic. After 15 years of discovering the song, I'm in love with a wonderful girl now and Angel Baby is one of the songs I listen now for my romantic mood. Thank you Rosie for one of the most wonderful love songs ever!!! 🙂

At 19 I find my self to be totally obsessed with the late 50's early 60's era of music. I must say I have never come across a voice so hauntingly beautiful as Rosie's. Can't get enough of that unique sound. Angel Baby is, if not the best, among the best love songs of the era and of all time. Thank you for the angelic sound.

Rosie: In 1960 my best friend (Bob S.) wanted to marry you, sign unseen just so you sang to him daily. He used to say "I don't care if she's black, white, yellow, pink, or purple, I'd marry her in a heartbeat!" Personally I compair you with another "great singer" who received similar vocal recognizion, "Timi Yuro." Too bad both couldn't do a song together, you would have sold a zillion copies. Take care and God bless. Bob W.

Ever since I heard Angel Baby performed in a movie that I can't remember, it has been burned into my memory as the most awesome love song ever. If someone knows the movie I am referring to, please post a message. In it, a blond girl sings the song during a high school prom set in the 50s. Anyway, thanks so much for the memories and genuinely angelic voice. Take Care!
