I heard John Lennon's version of 'Angel Baby' and being that he was your idol is like Prince singing one of my songs! That had to blow you away when you heard it. How lucky you are! And you are timeless-People love you just as much today as they did yesteryear. God Bless You Rosie! --Cherie.

Greetings! I read your story on the immunesupport website. I also have CFS/Fibromyalgia and it is great to see that you have been able to manage your successful career even with the illness. Actually my CFS is quite disabling, but I am sure you are familiar with that! 😉 I was hoping I might be able to speak with you. I tried to write an email in the Contact section but it doesnt work for some reason.

Hi Rose, You have the most beautiful voice ever! I was recently diagnoised with Fibromyalgia also. I know what it feels like to be in constant pain. Like your doctor, my doctor also told me that I would not die from this, but it sure as hell feels like it sometimes. I will keep you in my prayers and hope that today is a good one for you! God Bless you Rosie and thanks for bringing awareness to this invisible illness and thank you for bringing so much joy into other people's lives with your beautiful voice! Much Love, Sophie

Hi Rosie, I hope you might be feeling better.. I play with a group in Maryland that does Irish and folk rock music but we do classic rock too and 'Angel Baby' is one of our favorite songs to do.. a 'ladies' choice'.. We let our corner of the world know that Rosie Hamlin of Rosie and the Originals penned this wonderful ballad back in the 60's and it's still a super cool song today.. I don't know if it will help but I found that a plan explained on www.watercure2.com helped me with some of my ailments.. they have a section on Fibromyalgia.. it's free.. con carino, always a fan

So glad I found your web site. I heard you sing Angle Baby on the radio in 1960 and I never forgot it. I can't tell you how it made me feel then, but it is still almost the same now. What a wonderful thing. I hope you can get well and continue making music. My very best wishes for you.

I hope this reaches Rosie... I just read about your condition (I'm a fellow sufferer) and wanted you to know that the medication you're purchasing ALL are available through patient assistant programs -- I just looked them up on a website I use to join various assistance programs for the myriad (12) drugs I must take and cannot afford. You can access this invaluable resource at NeedyMeds.com -- there you look up each drug by it's commercial or generic name, as well as look up the various drug manufacturers. I'm saving over $1000.00 a month thanks to these wonderful programs -- a real Godsend when living on a very small fixed income from SSDI -- and there is no reason you can't experience comparable savings, depending upon on expensive your meds are. Godspeed in dealing with the ravages of FMS... -- Those who Wait for the LORD will Gain new Strength; They will Mount up with Wings like Eagles, They will Run and Not get Tired, They will Walk and Not become Weary. ~{ Isaiah 40:31 }~ Shoshona

Thank you, Rosie, for your Angel Baby. I have loved this song forever. I lived in Oxnard, California when I was 13 years of age and your song brings back many memories of the good times and great friends I had there. Like your family, we moved all over California before coming back to our roots in the midwest. You are a beautiful person, Rosie. God bless you.

First of all, I would like to thank you Rosie very much for opening my ears. It was because of your song "Angel Baby," that I started a loving the music of the 50's and 60's. I remember reading Homer's "The Odyssey" in 7th grade, reading about how Odysseus's passed through the island of sirens, and how their beautiful voice could seduce any man. When trying to imagine such hypnotizing voices, the only voice that came to mind that fulfill such a description; was yours, Rosie...

WOW! As a young kid I recall hearing my older cousin play Angel Baby and from that day on I was never quite the same. Seriously! I guess it was the beginning of me growing up, liking music on the radio, and thinking of slowww dancing with...ugh! girls! Well, to my surprise, while surfing the net for DooWop I came across something called Rose and the Originals and Angel Baby. I literally almost feinted when I realized that now FORTY years later I've found the one song that meant sooo much to me. I downloaded (sorry!) it from the net and play it EVERY DAY while laboring over my computer. Anyway, Rosie, the point of my whole boring story is THANKS for making this song, and THANKS for waking up this young pre-teen and turning him on to MUSIC! Bill Baker, Newark, Ohio.
