1999  National City Proclamation Award Proclamation for highly achieved National city citizen recognizing the thirty-fifth year success of Angel Baby.

 

1998  1 applied for and own The United States trade mark Rosie And The Originals.

 

I applied for and own my own Publishing company ‘Angel Baby’ Music Publishing Company

 

1997  Certificate of appreciation for donation of concert and time for MECHA of Fresno, California. Employment through education (Summerfest 97 & Car Show concert 97).

 

Television Show Remembering San Diego nationally aired.

 

1996  Awarded The official United States Postal Cancellation Stamp “Rosie And The Originals” ‘Angel Baby from The West Covina, California post office (September 9, 1996). First time for a Hispanic and the only other one of it’s kind was for Elvis Presley

 

TCI Cablevision, Marty’s Corner, third anniversary show, appreciation for community service award, August 24, 1996.

 

35 Year Achievement Award for “Angel Baby” duration and withstanding a discriminatory industry.  Barrio Station (March 2, 1996).

1983 I obtained my talent agent and booking license and started Rosie’s Original Talent & Booking Agency.

 

1960  I was 15 years old and the first Latina to appear on the Dick Clark show.

I was honored to be present at the Ritchie Valens Hollywood Walk Of Fame, when he posthumously received his star

 

I am currently nominated for the lifetime Achievement Award, The Alma Award, and the Nosotros  Golden Eagle Award, sponsored by Rachael Ortiz, Executive Director of The Barrio Logan Youth Center in San Diego, California.

 

John Lennon said that I was one of his favorite American singer heroes and honored me by recording Angel Baby It’s on the Menlove  Ave Album.

 

I  recorded Angel Baby in English & Spanish and the spanglish version is very popular in Mexico and Hispanic communities. Angel Baby has been termed the Hispanic national anthem for a long time, but most recently by a Gregory Nava.”

 

I was greatly honored to be asked to have my song and have my likeness portrayed in the movie Mi Familia – My Family by Gregory Nava. My song is also in the following movies; Date With An Angel, She’s Out Of Control,  After Hours, Hollywood Knights, Colors,  Locust, and my song played during a TV news clip of President Kennedy.

 

I have one major solo hit Angel Baby; one album, Lonely Blue Nights, two CD’s; Steppin Out In Style & The Ultimate Collection.
